WOMEN POWER 2010

Don’t You Know, We’re Talking About A Revolution
It Sounds Like A Whisper,”
- Tracy Chapman
It is hard to believe that not so long ago women were expected to stay in the kitchen, while men were the ones deemed worthy of making big decisions. Back then, women were factory workers not managers, seamstresses not fashion designers, nurses but not doctors, secretaries not CEOs, research assistants not scientists, fashion writers not media moguls. But look at women today, and you will find that we have come a long way. In this issue, PASSIONS pays tribute to six strong, beautiful women at the prime of their lives – entrepreneurs who have built their small empires and stood out in the crowd for their accomplishments, values and will to make it in life.
