Every invention is the result of hundreds and hundreds of concepts, ideas that gives us a sense of what can or cannot be achieved with current technology and practices. Creatively designed to incorporate innovation and change, each concept is a shape of what could be in the future – laying the foundation for an evolution in newer, better products. With vehicles, a concept is a view of what cars could be in the next five years relative with the rate of technology’s evolution. 2009 saw some interest new concepts from the world’s renowned automakers such as BMW, Toyota Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, with each revealing their vision of what could be a car of the future.
