A significant milestone in the motorcycle industry was achieved when the NAZA Group of Companies signed a distributorship agreement with Italian motorcycle group, Piaggio, to become the exclusive distributor for the Piaggio, Aprilia, Gilera and Vespa brands on the 4th of May.
The signing ceremony was completed by NAZA Group of Companies’ Joint Group Executive Chairman – Datuk Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin and Piaggio’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific Region – Mark Franklin. It was witnessed by Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry – Datuk Mukhriz Tun Dr Mahathir and Commercial Affairs Attache of the Italian Embassy – Mr Fabrizio Vermagini, Datuk Sri Ibrahim bin Jaapar – Director General of Royal Malaysian Customs and Naza Group of Companies Executive Vice President of Operations – Datuk Hj. SM Zulkifli SM Amin.
